Wanting to know what best mics for what budget for what nature project you
want to record are fine, diagrams and circuitry, how the mic actually works
is not really for this group. This group was founded on the principles of
nature recording, many people are attracted to this group for that very
cause, it needs to appertain to nature recording.

I like the details of which mics for what machines and such, but when
you start discussing circuit designs and mods it gets a bit off for me.
Some balance is good. I'm on a pro audio list where they can spend days
and hundreds of posts discussing the minute details of this or that
circuit and it gets pretty microscopic and inbred. But I am invloved in
a number of areas of sound, nature being just one, so my opinion is not
the majority. I think it would be good for lots of people to say what
they want from this list!
