Dear All, I just returned form 10 days in Oxford, England and surrounds with my=20 Granddaughter on an Elderhostel trip. I brought my binoculars and bird book= and=20 thought in my spare time I would do some birding. WHERE WERE ALL THE BIRDS= ? I was amazed to see very few passerines at all. I saw one House Sparrow and = a few Blackbirds and Robins and Great Tits..but very few. I was amazed. I know this is not a neotropical subject, but is something happening in England t= hat I am unaware of? Best, John John V.
