i think it is very good for an entry level audio
editor, and actually is better than many shareware
editors.
i see it roughly where cool edit used to be some years
ago. a low cost shareware programme that was
surprisingly good and very easy to use. now cool edit
has become audition and has gained a reputation and is
a very good editor, so i go around telling people to
try audacity.
