Last year at this time I had my first encounter with a fox. It was something like midnight and some animal was making a strange noise in my front yard. I went out with a flashlight and determined that it was a fox. Later I saw it in the daylight and it was a Red fox. A year later and after consulting with you all here; I now have a MD and microphone ready, so at 4AM this morning I was out recording the ruckus. Apparently all the noise is necessary for courting? Anyone else with foxes? When I figure out how to get this into a file I'll post a link, but it isn't exactly a beautiful song.
