Hey All -
Just thought I'd introduce myself, as I've just
recently joined.
My name is Josh, and I'm 23...Twin Cities, MN.
I stumbled on the group while searching for ambient
backgrounds for a film track I'm editing. (Which
reminds me...this is a student project at the
University of Wisconsin River Falls, and I was
wondering to whom do I speak about using a couple of
tracks from the naturesongs.com website? Also, if
anyone can point me in the direction of some city
ambience sounds I could use as well, that would be
awesome. I'd record them myself, but I'm realllyyyy
strapped for time.)
Anyways, I can't say that I have much experience with
nature recording. But I'm very interested in the
*techniques* used. I'd really like to create great BGs
for my film soundtracks.
So, if you're interested in having a budding sound
editor onboard, that'd be great. =)
Thanks for your time!
josh
