I just did this two days ago with the same player:
* install the USB/Net MD-driver for the Sharp
* install SonicStage 3.0 from Sony (yes, it's crap, but it'll get the
job done)
* transfer the files you want to the library, then transfer the files
to the minidisc.

By the way (drumroll, please!), I did this on a Mac Dual G5 using
Virtual PC and Windows XP - so if I can do it, anyone can. ;-)
...also, I'm hoping this will work with the Sony Hi-MDs, too. That way
it would actually be possible to transfer mic recordings from the
Hi-MD *digitally* to the Mac, and then convert to WAV. That would be
sweet.
