Seeking Low-cost Commercially Available Parabolic system

I can neither afford nor justify spending a lot of money on a parabolic
system, and I lack the skills to build one.
My recordings are strictly amateur, but I would very much like to acquire a
parabolic mic.

I have a minidisk recorder and a small portable preamp.
can anyone suggest a commercially available parabolic microphone that might
be available for under say $500.00?
