Bloody hell, my friends ask me for use of gear like that, never the other
way around, have you got any other mates you don't want?
Just joking of course, yes, the Portadisk will give you the phantom power
for these mics that you will need.

Friends,
Thru the enormous generosity of a friend, I have come by a pair of
Sennheiser MKH20's and a Portadisc--I am very pleased with how things
sound, to say the least!  A question from a non-tech--do I really
need these MZA14 power supplies, considering that the Portadisc
supplies the necessary phantom power? Or, put another way, under what
conditions would I need the MZA14's?
