The Portadisc will run the MKH-20's just fine. Here's what I have mine
doing:

Hint: you are most of the way there to having a Mod SASS. The hard part
is affording the MKH-20's.
Only use I can think of is if you get into trying to run the MKH20's
through a wireless link. Then you'd need power out at the transmitter.
I'm experimenting with this using Sennheiser's digital wireless, but I
normally hook the SASS/MKH-20 to my Sound Devices MP2 for both power and
a match to the transmitters. Then the receiver direct into the Portadisc.
