Friends, Thru the enormous generosity of a friend, I have come by a pair of Sennheiser MKH20's and a Portadisc--I am very pleased with how things sound, to say the least! A question from a non-tech--do I really need these MZA14 power supplies, considering that the Portadisc supplies the necessary phantom power? Or, put another way, under what conditions would I need the MZA14's?
