I will post this summary as I still am a small not for profit recordist.

Thanks to all that contributed with and without knowledge of your help.
Last night I gave a demonstration as part of a Science Fest for gifted
students in science. This is the youngest crowd, K to 12, I have ever
presented to. Even with a big snow the crowd was good.

I used the large 32" parabolic dish with headphones for hands on as
well as three blank dishes without microphones. I also had a laptop
set up with for audio with spectral displays. The kids did have fun
with it and learned something to.

Contributions from people of this list-serv include.
Mike for the referal to the event.
Greg for dish contributions.
Marty for stereo dish configuration input.
Randy for math contributions.
Mark for MOU contributions.
Audio from CD's and DVD's from John, Stan, Rob, Lang, and myself.

Well yes, I have a 32" mold, but there is a better mold out there.
The dish project (Now named the Q1) has been moving forward more than
5 years now in the background of things. I have personally field
recorded now with three different prototypes of it over the last 4
years. It is just too big of a project for me to take that much
credit with as input, design, and construction has been given by a lot
of the best people in natural sound. The hardware configuration for a
versatile dish has just about arrived at the point of a product being
available. I will try and post some photos soon as the biggest slow
down is the realization that I am not a salesman and the dish needs to
just speak for itself for those interested in a high quality,
versatile, larger dish.
