Thanks, Rudy. I have a good road case I used moving my tools to
Africa. Maybe I'll put a connector in the side. And I have a solid
metal box with foam that my Measurement Mike is in. I could suspend
it in the bigger box with soft rubber bands to get another level of
attenuation. I'm in a concrete/masonry apartment on the ground floor
and it's pretty quiet at night here, now that Ramadan is over. I'll
try to run some tests at 48Khz and 24 bits into an IBM laptop on
battery power, and look at the signal in Adobe Audition.
Anyone else using or planning the M-audio Transit USB interface (Up
to 96 KHz, 24 bits) for field recording?
