Well, phooey, the three audio file metadata formats Spotlight supports today are MP3, AAC (aka MP4) and MOV. Read about it here: http://www.apple.com/macosx/tiger/spotlighttech.html The page does mention that developer tools will be available to help applications with proprietary file formats to become accessible to Spotlight.
