Yes, that's Magicicada septendecim, one of the periodical cicadas.

Here are some sounds that I got with mics.  The first one is a short
clip of a cicada up close - there is some handling noise.  The second
is about 15 feet away from a tree with a lot of activity.  This one is
long.
