<At the moment I am trying to figure out how to include a link to an
mp3 file. So, I uploaded a 30 second sample to the
naturerecordists group "Files" page.
The name of the file is: twitter and Varied Thrush.mp3
Now, how do I put a link to it into this text?

This is all you need to do, when you upload a file like this, most people
get a notification of the fact.
Nice recording, the Varied thrush are still vocal where you are! Most have
gone off to the mountains here and would be due back in December with
attitude!
