It's a good idea to avoid using a 1/4" to 1/8" (aka 3.5mm) adapter
plug. And of course if you use one ME67 you're recording in mono.

Thanks for bringing this new product to our attention. Here's the page

At $230 USD it would be as expensive as a new minidisc recorder, but
it does let you record via line in, bypassing the preamp in the recorder.

Take a look at the "recording gear" discussion at
www.taperssection.com They share lots of useful information about
using hard disc recorders like the iRiver, Creative Jukebox and Neuros
HD for concert recording. All three should work OK with the MicTube
gadget. The hard disc recorders are more vulnerable than minidisc to
the shock and vibration of field use.
