Please accept my apologies for cross-postings!  I thought this might be of
some interest to members of several lists that I frequent and I don=B9t kno=
w
how else to get the word out but to post it.  Please feel free to contact m=

off-list for more info - I was at the amazingly rainy and inspiring retreat
last year and had an incredible and rejuvenating time...the addition of
multiple weeks of workshops this year means invariably something for almost
everyone (who is ear-minded)...best, michelle

Announcing the Deep Listening Institute
Four workshops with Pauline Oliveros & Master Artists
at Big Indian, NY.
August 1-7
Deep Listening Retreat with Pauline Oliveros, IONE and Heloise Gold.

August 8-12
Deep Listening workshop with master artist William Barton (dijeridu,
traditional and experimental music).

August 13-17
Deep Listening workshop with master artist Tomie Hahn (traditional and
experimental shakuhachi, dance and interactive electronics) plus Interface,
composers-in-residence Curtis Bahn and Dan Trueman.

August 18-22
Deep Listening workshop with master artist Bob Bielecki (audio art and
design) and composer/audio artist-in-residence Brenda Hutchinson.

The DL Retreat (week 1) is $625. The master artist workshops (weeks 2, 3 &
4) are $425 each. Registration for the entire month including all workshops
and the retreat is $1800.
