Glad to help, Con. The birds in the background are mostly cliff
swallows (Petrochelidon pyrrhonota).

Thanks! That's just what I'm looking for -- it's a great
recording. Do you happen to know who was making the bird-like caw
calls -- was it the squirrel, or some birds in the background? I am
trying to get a handle on this because ground squirrels are known to
make both kinds of calls, the short caw sound and the longer trill,
and I want to be sure that I am measuring the right things.
