Winter Wrens

Here is some information on the Winter Wren from the Cornell Laboratory of =
Ornithology:

And an interesting quote from the above article:

"Eastern birds have a repertoire of one to three simply organized songs, bu=
t in the West, Winter Wrens sing faster, more-complex songs and have repert=
oires of 30 or more songs."

Here in Prescott Arizona we have Winter Wrens in the mountains on a regular=
 basis but only in the winter. And I have never heard them sing but they do=
 give feeble little chirps.
