I thought the bobolink song was pretty good! I'd keep the quiet 'whining'
noises at the end; I'm quite sure it was the subject bird making them...I
believe I've heard male bobolinks make that sound...in the presence of a
female or rival male? It's been a few years since I've had the pleasure of
being around that species...

If you can get over to Necedah, you may be able to see and record
the Whooping Cranes. Necedah is where the young Whoppers are taught
to follow the ultralights. The birds from the last three years
return to that area and the new class should be flying in September.
