Does this Sharp minidisc recorder have a line-in jack? What input options
are offered? My Sound Devices MP-2 preamp has a stereo miniplug labeled
"tape out". Can I go from this directly into the Sharp recorder?

Lang

I agree, a Sharp minidisc. The Sharp MD-DR7 model (also called
MD-DR480 in some markets) has a very useful 5 second record-pause
buffer that keeps you from missing the start of your subject's
vocalization.=20

Lowest price I've seen for the DR-7 is $239 at www.audiocubes.com
This model is discontinued, so buy it while stock is still available.
