Hi all,
after many years of underwater bioacoustics I'm now going back to
terrestrial environments and I'm particularly intrigued by concepts like
biophony, soundscapes, bioacoustic diversity, acoustic ecology, etc.
I'd like to adapt to terrestrial habitats some of the studies made for the=

study of the impact of noise on marine mammals. As an ecology teacher in an=

Architecture Faculty, I already introduced some basic concepts about
bioacoustics to explain the importance of sound and of silence for the
human beings and for wildlife.

Can you suggest some specific reading on the subject ? (other than the
Bernie Krause works I already know)

Thanks in advance,
with your help I'll try to compile a web page on the topic,
Gianni
