ime when I'd really like to spend some quality time with the "nature of par=
abolic" thread. One of the things I will do upon return is transcribe my p=
aper on "Acoustic Properties of Parabolic Reflectors" and post it on my web=
site. In the meantime, the windscreen article that had appeared in "The Re=
corder" is posted there. One quandary regarding the paper is how to transc=
ribe the mathematical symbols, such as integrals and Bessel functions, and =
the figures. C'est la guerre.

I'm sure we won't solve everything before you get back ;-)

Best way to handle papers like that is to scan and then make up a pdf of
the scan's. That's how Sten's paper was done by whoever did it. By
checking it's properties with Acrobat Pro I can tell it was done on a
mac with a program called Pdf-it. What's more important is that it's not
copy protected in any way, so the scans can be extracted back out.
