About the mic comparison:

I have an MKH70. I will beat the bushes a little and see if I can come up
with a ME67. If I can, then I will be glad to help out by providing a
stereo file using a Tascam DA-P1 recording the same sound source. I am
real busy right now getting Burrowing Owl artificial burrows in the ground,
and getting owls relocated, but as soon as I see some daylight in the
schedule I will try to set up the test.
