Martyn,
What do you use as your recording device?  I also have a Nomad Jukebox 3
which offers the option to record in an uncompressed wav format.  But since=

Creative doesn't make the drivers for Mac OS X, I am kind of stuck with not=

being able to get my Powerbook to recognize the JB3.  That is why I have to=

resort to the PCM-M1.   Are there any other alternatives other than JB3 for=

hard disk recorders?  I noticed that the Sound Devices 722 is still in the =
works.
