Hi,

I received this request today ~ if anyone has any ideas for Mr. Gasbarre
please write him directly...

He's looking for recordings specifically of the wind. I mentioned the
Chris Watson recording on his second album, that was the first thing that
came to mind.

 best,
  aaron

Subject: Recording suggestion

Hi,

I briefly looked through your website and through your suggestions, but
was hoping to find a CD title of wind recordings.

I've been looking for several months for one without animal or insect
sounds and have found one - Winds of White Noise - from
http://www.purewhitenoise.com/whitenoisecd.html, which pretty much is what
I'm looking for, but was recorded on analog recording equipment and has
noticeable 'hiss' -- picky! picky!.

Anyway, I thought I had read that Gordon Hempton had an old CD of wind
recordings throughout several United States settings, but haven't been
able to find it - do you possibly know the title????

I would appreciate anything you might be able to suggest and I'll keep
looking through your site at a different time.

Thanks for your time and any reponse!
