and analog recording level control, End Search/Auto End Search, Group
function. Appears to be nearly identical to the MZ-R500. Note: Unit does
not have microphone input or remote jack. A microphone or remote cannot
be used with this unit.

This by the way is confirmed in their user manual. Looks like you're
going to need a different MiniDisc recorder for the microphone.
