For me, the best-written computer programs are CoolEdit and Photoshop, and now both of them belong to Adobe! Those people have a good eye for quality. But here's another good pick: RoboPDF, only $49 for a program which creates PDF files as good as Adobe's Acrobat (or maybe not so good, but so far it didn't do anything wrong on my PC), but cheap, not expensive like Adobe's stuff. Go to www.robopdf.com (or go first to http://www.msnbc.com/news/972253.asp?0si=- , which is where I read about it.)
