I need to clarify the statement I made: "2 - Back up the raw recordings on a write once data cd" I don't do this until I have accumulated a full CD of data (about 650 megs) then I make two copies on a CDR. The copy I keep at home also serves as a backup. So at this point I have a backup as well as an archive copy stored in a different location. Everything is cataloged on my database and allows me to quickly find and recall any of several thousand recordings including those that are in our Reference Library.
