Heya,

With this discussion of collecting list members' sounds on a regular
basis, I can't help but put out a reminder/plug for my one-minute
vacations project, which features a new one-minute recording every week,
contributed by someone somewhere...

 http://www.quietamerican.org/vacation.html

I'm currently about 18 months into the project; the first 52 recordings
were collected on a CD which is available for sale, with all profit
going to charity (so far, $185 or so have been collected).

Several list members, including Rich, have graciously contributed sounds
already... But as ever, I always need more -- and I would love to
post more well-made, well-commented nature recordings.

Btw this is no way to say that I don't think a list-centered, nature
recording-centric project such as is being discussed shouldn't happen as
well! :)

 best,
  aaron
