Rob, For extreme techinal info (a.k.a. specs) about the US-122 see this site: http://www.tascam.de/en/us-122.html Specs look quite good: totally HIFI all the way, REAL 48 volts phantom power. BUT: 2.5 Watts @ 5 Volts make the current draw P = U x I <=> 2.5 = 5 x I <=> I = 0.5 Ampere How much recording can you do with that?
