binaural fun

Hi,

I just like to say I think I made a good choice with the SoundMan
binaural microphones. I bought them for recording sounds on my small
wooden boat. I guess I could not do a better choice then these.
The best thing I like is I can freely move around in the boat and do
whatever I have to do. I've got two hands free because the mics are
worn in ones ears. This also makes recording of all kinds of small
sounds possible. The preparing of the boat. Everything. Also the
distance to the soundsource is always the same automatically, and when
it needs adjustment I only need to bend my head. Also when wind gets to
hars simply bending my head is enough to shut wind out.
This is great. Also sound to noise is very acceptable. I could never
have predicted these advantages in advance.
They do pick up all sorts of sounds, when low wind you can hear people
in a boat a half a mile away. To often I can hear the motor of a
distant boat.
Space is tremendous. A duck flying over, small ducks when i feed them
some bread.
I'll have a great time this summer.

Some time will pass though to run the stuff throught my computer.

Nick
