I just returned from 3 weeks recording in Ecuador where I arrived with Telinga, 3 microphones and power modules, 2 holsters, 2 minidisc and one TCM 5000 recorders, 4 million batteries, 2 headphones, many cassettes and minidiscs, and all the jungle stuff one needs for 3 weeks in the field. All packed in 3 big suitcases and a carryon. All arrived fine and all had been searched. I went thru 3 flight changes (San Jose, Miami, Quito) each way and a couple of internal Ecuador flights. I had no problems and nothing was missing. I also came back with 20 + hours of, hopefully, great recordings! So..some good news for all! John V.
