FYI folks: I just shipped 77 lbs (35kg) to Seattle from SF for $45
Airborne Express Ground. Guaranteed three days. Insured for $5000.
Got there in two days. Hard to beat the price.

Another Parabolic recording dish. Manufactured by or in cooperation
with, an active bird man Jean C. Roche (accent over the e). I don't
think it is still available. I recall it as a 25". The handle was a
single cushined C shaped tube that attached to the dish just above
center and went to the lower edge.

I have seen it once and last month there was one that went on e-bay.

I run one camo T-shirt material windscreen for light wind, one Fake
fur windscreen for higher winds, and in the worst prairie conditions
I run both and a foam windscreen on the mic.
