Walt, My sons are cursed in the same way. I've never regretted buying quality, particularly Nagra, I've been all over= with them sometimes in extreme conditions of heat, cold and humidity and t= hay have never let me down, I hope the V will be the same.=20 Wish you were closer I'm sure you would enjoy using it .
