Hi,

You could also buy it in a powder form instead of pills. I use it as
a topping on my solid cat foot. This powder not only is good for
their nails ans skin (or hair), it also scares away the fleas because
of the smell. Personally I do not notice the smell (at all), but this
powder is a great alternative instead of a flea-collar. The latter
smells far more, and is far more toxic for the enviroment and the cat
itself.

So using the yeast instead of chemicals will be better for both human
and nature. This also applies in the field!

Another thing I use to scare unwanted insect away is essential oil,
with the anti bug flavor, it might be expensive, but again it is
nature friendly.
Looks to me that any natural way - non toxic - way is naturefriendly,
as we should be.
