I'm about to build up the circuit in the SASS housing again. I think I 
have a cure, but need to build it up to see if it's just waiting for me 
to do that to misbehave again. You know, run fine on a breadboard, but 
not once all together.

I have someone sending me a copy of the circuit diagram for the mic and 
some other materials. I'll probably wait for that before building. Just 
in case there's more info.
