It was brought up before, but note:
Transfer to the minidisc, not from.
SimpleBurner will only transfer files in LP2 or LP4 format to the recorder
Since you have to already have a audio file to transfer, it's not a
method of recording in the field. Nor is it a method of transferring a
field recording to a computer. It is only a method of getting around the
copy protection and not one anyone is likely to worry about too much due
to the lower quality of LP2 or LP4.
As we tend to be thinking around here in terms of making quality
original recordings out in the field (outdoors of nature), using
microphones, it loses out on several grounds.
