Bernie Krause's new book, "Wild Soundscapes"
arrived today. The book looks like very useful
to experienced as well as beginning recordinst.
I like the illustrations, and especially enjoy
Bernie's anecdotes from his 40 years' experience
in the field. The afterword by Lang Elliott on
binaural recording issues is also most welcome.

I ordered my copy from buy.com.

My Sharp - MD-SR50 - is almays on manual recording, if you have set it once
