   As I understand it, the CVX records primarily in a horizontal band.
A toroidal pattern, if you will?  Seems like that would be ideal for use
with a regular old umbrella since it wouldn't be hearing the raindrops
above it.  Maybe you should make a little clip on umbrella for it.  (Or
maybe I misunderstand entirely, in which case I'm always happy to be set
straight.)
