Leonard Lombardo makes 'heads' to complement his DSM mics, even without
the mics they are considerably cheaper:

 http://www.sonicstudios.com/guypage.htm
$1600 molded, hard head with 'features'

 http://www.sonicstudios.com/liteguy.htm
  $600 portable, soft head

Even throwing in $75 for windscreens and ~$650-$700 for his top quality
mics you'd be set up for considerably less...

One of these days I'm going to invest in the 'liteguy' model; I'll report
back if and when I have experience with it...

best regards,
aaron
