Dear ALL:

Amen!!

Last year, I had the same problem with a LapNote 200 MHz USB transfer
process, the resulting file simply had gaps at arbitrary places, whenever
the bus (?) couldn't keep up with the USB input rate. I tried it with
music and the problems were instantly obvious, as the regular meter now
jumped across valleys and mountains at many awful bounds!

Thanks to all who helped.
