Hi Euan.

Others can help much more than I with the mammals, but I've seen both Hooded 
Parrots and Gouldians along the Edith Falls Road, out of Katherine. Further 
west the Vic River District in general, and Gregory River NP in particular, 
is finch heaven. Sift through enough brown immature finches (!) and you'll 
find Gouldians.
