Erratic delivery of emails

Unfortunately… my email is a gmail account, and usually receives chatline emails fine, but didn’t for the recent instance.

I suggest this as for a long time on the Ebird Facebook group people have complained that they were no longer getting alerts and it turns out that some providers are blocking the emails and they don't even go to the spam folder. Our mailing list operates under GNU Mailman via our hosting company Fluucs. I do not have access to Mailman other than the list management pages. As a result, I cannot do anything to identify if there is an ongoing problem.

 

It is possible that the Mailman managers are short staffed over the holiday period and therefore slow in rectifying any problems; purely speculation on my part.

 

Please let me know if you have any ongoing problems with the list; I can always check the status of your subscription, and can follow-up with the support staff at our hosting company.
