Great to have these records. Even though they are (by the standards of a few decades ago), a concerningly low number of observations and numbers and late in the season.

I spent 20 minutes at the Wetlands and counted 22 Needletails and 16 Swift, then I went home and recorded 2 Needletail and 8 Swift.

Seems they are widespread today.

Morning all,

At around 0835 this morning I recorded at least 10, and probably more, Pacific Swifts low over my house in Kaleen They were as low as the rooftops of nearby houses and up to several hundred metres in the air, which made making an accurate count rather difficult. It was just pure chance that I went outside chasing up a call from another species and saw the first over my Neighbour's house. Weather at home was fine, clear, dead calm and reasonably warm with no sign of an approaching storm.
