I saw Pacific Swifts near Quanbeyan and in Narrabundah this morning as well.  Good views.

Hi all,

I just opened my emails to report the same!!
Pacific Swifts over Campbell in approx the last half hour, in ones and twos. White rump was clearly visible from below and I managed some photos.
It seemed to be an approx north-south movement but some were also going in other directions so the same birds may have been seen.
Possibly other species as well. I'll check all the photos.

Happy day to all!

Morning all,

At around 0835 this morning I recorded at least 10, and probably more, Pacific Swifts low over my house in Kaleen They were as low as the rooftops of nearby houses and up to several hundred metres in the air, which made making an accurate count rather difficult. It was just pure chance that I went outside chasing up a call from another species and saw the first over my Neighbour's house. Weather at home was fine, clear, dead calm and reasonably warm with no sign of an approaching storm.
