Hi Nick (and others),
I did record the bird but it was too distant to confirm it was a cuckoo dove. Here is the ebird link if you want to access it: https://ebird.org/checklist/S159702007 (note
that the first note of each call was not picked up in the recording).
BTW, the cuckoo dove (if it is indeed one) was calling again this morning, once again the distinctive doo-co-wUP call but it was even further away and it was not picked up in the recording at all.
