ABC TV news has just carried a story of Aust Painted Snipe at Lake Cargelligo NSW. They just say one female has been found there and the person reporting hopes there may be more, although they showed photos of 1 F and also close film of a M & a F and then 2 F together. So it is not clear to me about who is there. They may have included separate stock film of the birds from some prior event.
