There are at least two males calling along the Dickson tributary of Sullivans Creek, just N of wetland. They have been audible for about a week, and the species is in the vicinity most summers now.

There are a lot of WWTs around at the moment. Not just in the usual places like Campbell Park.
I heard two or three calling this morning from the poplars between Yamba Drive and Curtin, on the east side of Yarralumla Creek. And I saw one.
I can’t think that they would ever succeed in breeding there, I’m sure the poplars and mown parkland grass doesn’t have enough insects for them.
