I remember several years ago feeling pretty chuffed with myself after getting a clean shot of a Painted Snipe for the first time. I then remember looking to my right and admiring the bizarre sight of a lady dragging a wheelchair towards me, across the margins of a swamp. Upon arrival she introduced herself as Margaret, said I had a great spot for a clean shot, pulled out her bazooka sized f/2.8 prime and got down to business.

A straight shooter in photography and life in general.
